You tell yourself nothing will ever ever happen between the two of you and you know it's true yet you still assume that you're going to meet and they'll fall in love with you and you'll be happy ever after. No, that really doesn't seem normal in my opinion. Maybe that celebrity is just the "type " of person that you like, and you're disappointed because you cant find someone like that in real life. Maybe it's not the celebrity you want, maybe it's a person who shares the same qualities as them. I've had that happen to me before. Eventually, I did find someone who possessed those qualities.

Being overly obsessed with Lady Gaga doesn't hurt. I'm not familiar with that type of obsession, but I can see where you are coming from, i've seen people go through it.
