Question: Is this girl a good actress?

Just a few notes. First, she's not acting. She's reading. That's not how monologues work. She needs to be off book before filming it and asking for criticism from strangers, in my opinion. Second, it really seems like she's got the whole thing planned out in her head like "I'm going to cry here, pause here, and look annoyed here. " If I were directing her the very first thing I'd do is completely knock her plan out from under her and tell her to play it like she's trying to convince the new kid in school that they *aren't* the nerds and that it's someone else, and then see if she can take direction. Lastly, and I know this is being picky, I *haaaaate* seeing someone sit like that and not move around, especially when they're trying to convince me that they're upset. I know it's a webcam and that she may not be able to do anything about it, but the next thing I'd do to mess with her is pick up the webcam, show the whole room, and tell her that if she sits on that bed then the popular kids have won and that she really is a nerd. I looked at her other videos and she's not untalented and she *is* still young. I just wanted to give some feedback.

I personally don't think she is very good. you can tell she is reading the words and the emotion got weak towards the end. Everything was too spaced out and nothing flowed, her timing was wrong. anyway performing is inside you, sure you can learn to get better but don't look at others to try and be like them, it'll never work. let your daughter be her and you should be proud x
